This is also my first BLOG HOP. I hope that I'm doing it right! After reading my post, hop on over to Melisa Waldorf's blog, Paperlicious Designs to see the next project. Leave a comment here on my blog for a chance to win the set that I used.
For my last project (and Blog Hop), I used the Pumpkin Trio. I love fall and I can't wait for it to get here. I love the colors, the pumpkins, the smells and the cooler weather. I decided to only use one of the pumpkins from the set.
I love using craft cardstock. The polka dots were designed in the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition. I designed it with two layers so that you can change the color polka dots if you want to. You can get it here.
Just click on each layer to change colors. I haven't tested it, so I hope it works
You can see the layers here. Regina already has made the file where you can print the
extra layers. She has made it so easy for us. I love this lady. I'm so going to miss being a part of the team. Let me grab some tissues...(still sniffing!)
Here is the sentiments that come with this set.
This card was made by Regina Easter, owner of The Cutting Cafe'. Isn't it waaaay cute?
Don't forget to leave a comment to win this set. I will pull a name on Saturday and you will be contacted by Regina to get your free set. Don't forget to leave your email address.
Now hop on over to the other blogs, Melissa's is next!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sharla! Pumpkin bread with chocolate chips and pumpkin pie, here I come!
DeleteI have never really used this type of file before. I love the card. Bad thing about fall though is it ends and leads to winter.
ReplyDeleteDenise
Thanks Denise. You don't have to have a cutting machine to cut them out. Regina, makes it so easy to use her files. You can print it and use a pair of scissors. Another thing you can do is print it on scrapbook paper or cardstock. I know how you feel about winter....UGH! It's not so bad if we don't have a lot of snow.
DeleteI love the start of fall: as a nice reprieve from all the heat. You card lets you think of pumpkin pie or bread baking. Love it, Renee
ReplyDeleteThanks Renee! My SIL has a recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip bread...I so need to get it, it's very good!

ReplyDeletecard. I love your paper colors and the polka dots just add that touch! This is so cute!!!
How sweet Angie! THANKS! I don't know if you use a silhouette, if you do, I made a free files for the polka dots. It's two layers, I didn't use the back color, I just moved it off to the side.

DeleteI love that set. I think it's genius you made it out of kraft paper. Great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen...I love that kraft cardstock
DeleteI love it, the combination of the colors of the pumpkin and the card is great !!!Thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks Clancy...I love fall colors.
DeleteLove this, the kraft is perfect for Autumn, and the polka dots are great, but the thing I like most is the circle sentiment. That was a great way to use it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue! At first I thought I had made it smaller. Then I realized that it was too big to hang it off of the stem as a tag, so I just stuck it there until I could think of what I was going to do with it...I ended up liking it there, so I just left it.
DeleteVery creative...Perfect for fall...Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...VERY VERY CUTE

DeleteLOVE your pumpkin card!!! The orange and kraft are wonderful together. Quick question ... I'm wondering how you are able to reply individually to each comment and if that comment is emailed to them. I have blogger ... but I dont' see a way to do that. Hope you are having a fun Labor Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Melisa, I can't remember right off...I just played around in the settings. Let me take a look and get back to you. Three days off...wooohooo!
DeleteOkay...I think it's Design/settings/post and comments. Under the comments, the only thing I changed is under the comment part, pick embedded. I THINK that might be it...let me know if it worked. Still learning. :)
